Britney Sistare

Acting, musical theatre and dance coach

Britney Sistare is a Washington, D.C. actor, theatre educator, and writer with a BFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. She has been teaching acting, musical theatre, and dance to young performers since 2022, working with students in schools, camps, and youth theatre programs. Britney has directed and choreographed youth productions and is passionate about creating collaborative spaces where students can build confidence, explore their creativity, and develop their skills as performers. As a working actor herself, she loves bringing her professional performance experience into the classroom.

Joey coaches acting and film for middle and high school students. He has led workshops at the Virginia Thespian Festival for the past five years and films pre-screen auditions for our college coaching students.

Katie Hamberger

Private dance coach

Katie Hamberger is an arts educator, choreographer, and storyteller. She began her career choreographing for the stage at age 13. Her focus is on telling stories that resonate with, entertain, and inspire audiences. She centers her work around valuing the young people she works with as who they are as individuals and encouraging them to bring their own artistic voices to the stage through her work. Her work has won various accolades, including, most recently, Choreographer of the Year and Outstanding Artistic Direction at the 2025 Virginia Dance Awards.

Rachael McNutt

Acting and audition coach

Rachael McNutt is a teaching artist passionate about creating theatre spaces where young artists feel safe to be curious, take risks, and find their own voice. She believes there is no single “right” way to be an artist and encourages students to embrace what makes them unique while developing strong technique and confidence. Her teaching style is playful and collaborative. Rachael's lessons are always grounded in emotional truth, incorporating improvisation, physicality, character work, and exploration. Rachael strives to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and discovering what kind of artist they want to be.

Ryyana Cunningham

Acting and musical theatre coach

Ryyana is a multidisciplinary theatre artist and educator with experience encompassing directing, choreography, musical theatre coaching, costume, hair and makeup design, sound, and production leadership across 20+ productions. She loves creating theatre that challenges young performers while making the process feel exciting, collaborative, and genuinely fun! Her approach combines professional-level expectations with an energetic, encouraging rehearsal room where students can build confidence, discover their creativity, and learn what it really takes to bring a production to life.

Taylor White Marshall

Taylor has been acting since age seven and still performs, and brings more than seven years of experience directing, training, and teaching young actors.
